The village of Tinahely lies in the south of Co Wicklow just over an hour from Dublin. The village provides a fantastic base to explore the surrounding countryside. Over the past number of years the Tinahely Walkers Initiative has developed a series of looped walks from the village allowing walklers to explore the beautiful surroundings. The walks vary from short forest trails up to longer strenuous routes up to 25km.

Routes include:

The Tinahely Loop: 25km route with an ascent of 350m. For experienced walkers

Kyle Loop: 20km route with an ascent of 500m. For experienced walkers

Ballycumber Loop: 14km with an ascent of 400m. For experienced walkers

Mangans Loop: 9km with an ascent of 300km. For regular walkers

For less strenuous walks the Railway Walk and Tomnafinnoge Woods offer a comfortable off road walking distance and are convenient to the village
