Date for EcoTrail Wicklow 2022 is Announced

EcoTrail Wicklow has announced that this year’s trail running event will take place on Saturday, September the 24th 2022.
The third edition of EcoTrail Wicklow offers the option of four distances (19k, 30k, 46k or 80k) following trails that run through some of Wicklow’s most scenic locations including Bray Seafront, Bray Head, Killruddery, the Great Sugarloaf, Powerscourt Waterfall, Djouce and The Wicklow Way, Lough Tay and Roundwood Reservoir.
EcoTrail Wicklow is part of the eco-responsible international circuit of EcoTrail races which are hosted in 13 destinations around the world. The core principle behind the race series is to organise world-class trail running events while also raising awareness of the importance of protecting natural environments. Attracting runners of all levels, ages and nationalities, along with some of Ireland’s best international mountain runners, Ecotrail Wicklow continues to welcome international runners keen to experience some of Wicklow’s stunning landscape and the unique challenge that the upland trails offer.
In 2021 EcoTrail Wicklow was sold out with more than 1,500 participants registered, so the organisers, County Wicklow Tourism, advise early booking to avoid disappointment.
