DESCRIPTION:On September 14th\, Laragh Tidy Towns is hosting an evening with Pádraic Fogarty of the Irish Wildlife Trust. Pádraic will talk about his landmark book Whittled Away. The book charts the grim decline of nature in the Irish landscape\, but it also reveals possibilities for the future\, showing a path to recovery for nature and wildlife. In particular\, Pádraic will discuss how we can better manage our uplands – a topic relevant to the area. The talk\, followed by discussion\, will take place in the Brockagh Resource Centre\, Laragh\, Co. Wicklow. September 14th\, 7.30 – 9pm. Free admission\, all are welcome to attend.
